This class is designed to demonstrate for teachers the power in using free online student response tools for quick formative assessments, more lengthy quizzes, summative assessment, or classroom polls.

Clear Targets:

Participants will:
  • set up accounts to use tools or do other preparation necessary to use student response tools in the classroom
  • create and manage assessments and activities using student response tools
  • understand how these tools allow immediate feedback in order to drive instruction
  • identify best fits in curriculum for the use of these tools to engage students, provide feedback and plan for implementation
  • collaborate with peers to explore appropriate use of these tools in instruction
